Mary Jane Reynolds

November 13, 1946 ~ March 26, 2020 (age 73)

Mary Jane Reynolds, age 73, formerly of Geneva, passed unexpectedly on March 26, 2020 at her home in Louisville, Ohio.  Born November 13, 1946, in Painesville, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Marion (Bixler) Reynolds. Mary Jane grew up on the family farm, graduated from Geneva High School, and attended Kent State University.

She worked in sales most of her life and most recently she was a self-employed consignment dealer.

Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with family & friends, going to the casinos, shopping and traveling.  She had traveled to Europe and throughout the United States and Canada.  She loved party planning and went above and beyond with decorations and food.  Mary Jane was always taking pictures.  She had just recently given up her 35 mm camera and went digital.  She was constantly giving to others and never wanted anything in return.  Mary Jane had a beautiful twinkle in her eyes when she smiled, that along with her gift of conversation made people always feel comfortable around her. Mary Jane had a great sense of humor and was not afraid to speak her mind.

Survivors include her siblings Marcia Napier of Geneva and Marjorie “Dovie” Harvard of Florida; nephew and nieces: Todd Webb, Tanya Ratchford, Larry Dusenbury, Robert Dusenbury, Kathy Kuhar, Denise Freitag, Larry Reynolds, Laurie Barber and Anita Myers. Her long time best friend Della (Dale) Fox of Ashtabula also survives her along with her honorary nephew Darren Fox, niece Darcie Piatek and granddaughter Harper Piatek.

Her parents and her brother Larry “Buzzy” preceded her in death.

Mary Jane will be greatly missed by everyone that had the honor to know her.

A private graveside service will be held Friday, November 13, 2020 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
