Austinburg - Robert “Bob” Covell passed on November 7th, 2021, at the age of 72. Bob was born April 29th, 1949 to Clarence and Gladys (Barnum) Covell. He grew up in Madison, then travelled and lived in California and Florida. He was very adventurous. He had other jobs including being a machinist at TRW, but his passion was his own company, B & B Towing which he owned and operated. He dedicated his life to helping others and would drop everything to help anyone.
Aside from helping everyone he could, he was a kind and wild person to all those that knew him. He was goofy, fun, and hardworking. Bob made time for some of his hobbies including going to car shows, shooting, listening to music, vacationing, plus spending time with his family and friends. Bob was well loved and will be missed, he touched many lives.
Bob is survived by his wife of 36 years, Barb, his kids Andy Covell of Texas, Matt Covell of Saybrook, Abby Covell of Mentor, Peggy Pekarski of Rock Creek, Jamey Covell of Painesville, and April Covell-Ockington of Florida, his brother David Covell of Ashtabula, plus his 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother Carl, children Ricky McElroy, Annette McElroy, and Regan Covell.
